Aaron I. Naar
Aaron Naar is a lead editor and director at Editree. A Film Independent and IFP Documentary Lab alumnus and a recipient of the Pacific Pioneer Fund, he has participated in Independent Film Week and Spotlight on Documentaries, the Film Independent Forum, and Points North Pitch. His feature directorial debut, Mateo, was nominated for the Grand Jury Award at the 2014 South by Southwest Film Festival.
Over the past several years, Naar has edited a wide range of short and long format work for Editree. In 2016, his editorial work won an Emmy for Outstanding Short Format Nonfiction Series for Inside Look: The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Most recently, he worked as an editor on Apple TV’s Home documentary series.
