Editree Inc. is a boutique post-production company based in the Arts District of Downtown, Los Angeles, CA. With a focus on character-driven narratives and naturalistic storytelling, Editree specializes in offline editorial work. Spearheaded by Nicole Vaskell and Aaron Naar, Editree has worked on features, episodic television and commercial campaigns for industry-leading companies, including Sony, Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox, Disney, Netflix, Amazon, Google and Apple. Our work has screened at festivals around the world, including Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, Rotterdam, HotDocs, Lincoln Center, and more.
In 2016, Editree's work won an Emmy for Outstanding Short Format Nonfiction Series for Inside Look: The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Also in 2016, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead: The Steve Aoki Story was nominated for a Grammy for Best Music Film. In 2015, Editree’s work received the same Emmy nomination for American Horror Story: Extra-Ordinary Artists. In 2018, their work for Inside Look: The Assassination of Gianni Versace was again nominated for an Emmy. And in 2019, their work for Pose: Family, Community, Identity was also nominated for an Emmy.
